Implosion In Mount Wolf Borough Sept 12 |

| If you live in Mount Wolf Borough and heard a loud explosion this morning at 9:45 AM it was the last few buildings of the New York Wire plant being imploded. Chestnut Street and the first block of North Main Street were closed for about 15 minutes for the demolition.
Everything went smoothly and NERPD would like to thank all the residents who cooperated and the agencies involved in making it a safe demo.

Train Accident Mount Wolf Borough Aug 27 |

| Tractor Trailer driver heading into Mount Wolf Borough on Walnut Street, said he stopped at the stop sign before crossing the railroad tracks. Driver advised he looked both ways but did not see the train. As the tractor trailer crossed the tracks the driver said he heard the train horn and then felt the impact. The driver and train crew were not injured.
